1. Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Lifewise Ventures Private Limited (“SvaVeda”, “we”, “us” or “our”) collects, uses, shares and otherwise handles personal information in connection with SvaVeda’s website, platform and related services (collectively, the “Platform”).

SvaVeda is a technology-enabled marketplace that connects Seekers with independent Experts offering wellbeing Programs. This Policy should be read together with our Terms & Conditions and other applicable SvaVeda policies.

By using the Platform, you acknowledge the handling of information described in this Policy, subject to

applicable law.

2. Information We May Collect

Depending on how you use SvaVeda, we may collect:

account and profile information, such as your name, contact details and other information you choose to provide;

Booking and transaction information, such as Programs booked, payment status and related transaction records;

information submitted by Experts for onboarding, verification, payout, tax, compliance or marketplace administration;

communications and information you provide when contacting SvaVeda or using Platform communication features;

reviews, feedback, photographs and other content you submit;

technical and usage information, such as device, browser, log, cookie and interaction information; and

other information reasonably necessary to operate the Platform, provide requested services, comply with law or protect Users and the marketplace.

Please avoid sharing information that is unnecessary for the relevant Program or transaction, particularly through public or user-to-user areas of the Platform.

3. How We Use Information

We may use personal information to:

create and administer accounts;

enable Program discovery, Bookings and related marketplace activity;

process and administer payments, refunds and Expert payouts through applicable service providers;

communicate about accounts, Bookings, Programs, support and other relevant matters;

verify information where reasonably necessary;

operate, maintain, protect and improve the Platform;

prevent fraud, misuse, security incidents and other harmful activity;

comply with legal, regulatory, tax, accounting and record-keeping obligations;

respond to disputes, claims, complaints or other concerns; and

send marketing or promotional communications where permitted by law and subject to available choices.

We may also use aggregated or appropriately de-identified information for analytics, research and Platform improvement where permitted by law.

4. Sharing Information

We may share relevant information with:

the Expert or Seeker involved in a Booking, where reasonably necessary to administer the Program or Booking;

payment, payout, identity, verification, hosting, technology, communication, analytics and other service providers supporting the Platform;

professional advisers, auditors or insurers where reasonably necessary;

government authorities, regulators, courts or other parties where required or permitted by applicable law; and

another party in connection with a corporate transaction, restructuring or transfer involving SvaVeda, subject to applicable law.

We do not share personal information merely because another User requests it. Information shared between Users should be limited to what is reasonably necessary for the relevant Program or Booking.

5. Experts and Independent Use of Information

Experts are independent providers responsible for the Programs they offer. An Expert may need to use information relating to a Seeker or Booking to administer and deliver the relevant Program or meet their own legal obligations.

Where an Expert independently determines how to use personal information beyond the purposes for which it was shared through SvaVeda, that Expert may have their own privacy and legal responsibilities.

Users should contact the relevant Expert directly regarding that Expert’s independent handling of information, where appropriate.

6. Cookies and Similar Technologies

SvaVeda may use cookies and similar technologies to enable core Platform functions, remember preferences, understand usage, maintain security and improve the Platform.

Where required, we will provide appropriate information or choices regarding such technologies. You may also be able to manage certain cookies through your browser or device settings, although disabling some technologies may affect Platform functionality.

7. Communications and Marketing

We may send communications necessary for your account, Bookings, payments, support, security or other Platform administration.

Where permitted, we may also send information about SvaVeda, Programs or related updates. You may use available unsubscribe or preference options for promotional communications. Opting out of marketing communications will not necessarily stop essential service or transaction-related communications.

8. Retention of Information

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including to provide the Platform, administer accounts and Bookings, meet legal or record-keeping obligations, resolve disputes, protect against fraud or misuse and enforce our agreements.

Retention periods may vary depending on the nature of the information and the reason it was collected.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and organisational measures designed to protect information under our control.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Users should also take reasonable steps to protect their accounts, devices and credentials and should notify us if they believe their SvaVeda account has been compromised.

10. Your Choices and Requests

Subject to applicable law, you may have rights or choices regarding personal information we hold about you, including the ability to request access, correction, updating or deletion in appropriate circumstances.

To make a request or ask a privacy-related question, please contact us through the contact details or support channels made available on the Platform. We may need to verify your identity or request additional information before acting on a request.

Some information may need to be retained where required by law or reasonably necessary for legitimate record-keeping, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution or similar purposes permitted by law.

11. Children and Minors

SvaVeda is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children in circumstances where such collection is not permitted by applicable law.

Where a Program permits participation by a minor, the relevant parent, guardian or legally responsible adult is responsible for providing any consent required for the minor’s participation and information sharing.

The Platform may interact with or link to third-party services. Those services may operate under their own terms and privacy practices. SvaVeda is not responsible for the independent privacy practices of third parties, and Users should review relevant third-party information where appropriate.

13. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in law, the Platform or how we handle information. The latest version will be made available through SvaVeda and will apply from its stated effective date, subject to applicable law.

14. Contact

For privacy-related questions or requests, please contact us through the contact details or support channels made available on the Platform.

Final Clarifications

Expert information collected for marketplace administration or compliance may include legal or business name, PAN, GSTIN or GST status, bank or payout details, declarations and related information reasonably required. Closing or deleting an account does not necessarily require immediate deletion of information that must or may reasonably be retained for completed transactions, tax or accounting, security, fraud prevention, disputes or enforcement, subject to applicable law.
